22 October 2019

14:00-17:00

Champasak Room, 1st floor, Champasak Grand Hotel

This session provides a platform to get updates from ASEAN Member States and Asian developing countries on their national efforts to fulfill Aichi Target 11, including recent innovations in managing protected areas through the use of data analysis combined with mapping and on analysis of data from passive acoustic recorder for soundscape monitoring. The lessons from the sharing of experiences as well as insights from discussions should also contribute to the development of positions that may be useful inputs to the development of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
